Ebonyi State Governor Sacks All Permanent Secretaries Except One

The Ebonyi State Governor,  on Sunday fired all permanent secretaries in the state’s civil service.

In a statement signed by the governor’s Principal Secretary, Chief Clement Nweke, today in Abakaliki, the state capital, only the Clerk of the House of Assembly, Mrs Rose Nwokporo, was retained. Exempted from the retirement exercise.

The statement directed all the retired officials to complete all handover exercises in their respective ministries, boards and agencies before the close of work on Monday, November 16.

It further directed all commissioners, heads of parastatal agencies in the state, to ensure total compliance with the directive.
