How o Open a Coconut

1. Before anything, shake the coconut to see if it contains water. If there is no typical sloshing sound, it is because the coconut is dry, in other words, overripe. 
2. make two holes in the eyes on the top of the coconut. This may be done with a hammer and nail or corkscrew.
3. Pour the water into a glass.
4. Saw the coconut.
5. Separate the shell from the pulp using a hammer or place the coconut in a hot oven for a few minutes.
6. Remove the brown skin from the pulp adhering to the pulp.
7. Wash the pulp in running water.
