Many Fear Dead As Two Explosions Rock Crowded GSM Market In Kano

Another explosion has occurred at Kano State after 32 people died in yesterday’s twin blast in Yola which also left 80 people injured.  According to eye witnesses, the explosions that occurred this evening took place at the Kano GSM market around farm centre.


One occurred at the market entrance while the second device exploded near a pavilion in the centre of the market. Witnesses said the one that occurred at the market entrance was carried out by a young girl whom they had suspected was a suicide bomber and was prevented from enetering into the GSM market before she exploded killing herself in the process. However, unknown to them, an elderly man was also just waiting to explode and he was right inside the market. We can’t tell how many people who lost their life at the moment, but by tomorrow, the figures will be clear. May the Lord take control.
