Names of 14 Special Advisers to President Muhammadu Buhari would soon be announced by the President. It was gathered that President Buhari already had the names.
On June 3, the President got the go ahead of the Senate to appoint 15 special advisers for his administration, out of which he appointed only Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. Last Wednesday, President Buhari inaugurated his cabinet, announcing 36 ministers.
Buhari had on June 2, 2015, in a letter addressed to the then Senate President, Senator David Mark, said his request to appoint 15 special advisers was in accordance with the Section 151 (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, (as amended).
