My Experience Using A Tecno Camon C8

Tecno C8 is a nice phone just as the company portrays it. I've used the phone for close to six months and I can testify to it. The camon is a complete opposite to my previous phone which was also a tecno product (L6).
I so much love how sleek and light the light it could be. Kudos to tecno on that.

Camera Quality : Let me start with the camera, tecno tried on the camera. I mean they did a very good job on this aspect. The device came fully loaded with a 13megapixel dual flash camera which makes it extremely good when taking pictures both in the day and night (in a very dark place). The front camera is also amazing. It also has a flash but a bit sketchy.

Battery life: The device is equipped with a non-removable 3,000mah battery. It doesn't take much time to charge when using the recommended charger but it takes ages to completely charge when using a normal 250naira charger. Now let me get to the main point, when fully charged with my data on, it doesn't last a bit. It can drop from 100% to 80% in 20mins. But without putting on my data, it could last me for 20hours. I don't know how long it'll last when playing games with the phone. I'm not a gamer. So I can't really say anything on that.

Hardware/software performance: The device is equipped with a quad-core MT6735 processor and a 1GB ram with a storage space of 32gb and a memory card slot. Although I am a huge tecno fan. I must confess, I think they lied here. I didn't expect my apps to shut down while trying to multitask. The one that actually breaks my heart is the fact that my web pages have to reload when I'm trying to multitask. Well thanks to Opera mini and uc browser for saving me from this mess. The main phone browser sucks at this. Also, the company rolls out updates for this device from time to time but truthfully I don't see any difference. Maybe it's just to make me feel I'm using the latest software. Also, the 1Gb ram is a pain in the ass. My app shuts down when am in the middle of something (instagram, YouTube, facebook, snapchat) even when they're the only App am running at the moment.

Generally speaking, I think the Camon C8 is just a CAMERA phone.
