Buhari Appoints Head Of Niger Delta Power Holding Company

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Joseph Chiedu Ugbo as the managing director/chief executive officer of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited.


A statement by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, the president also appointed two other Executive Directors. They are Babayo Shehu (Finance and Administration) and Ife Oyedele (Engineering and Technical Services).

Mr. Ugbo had held the position in an interim capacity. He is a legal practitioner and infrastructure regulations specialist with extensive experience in electricity industry reform and privatization.
