Gunmen Frees Igiri’s 105-Year Old Mother 12 days After Been Kidnapped

Mother of Elder Wilberforce Igiri, running mate to Chief Timipre Sylva, the All Progressives Congress,  APC, governorship candidate in the December 5 governorship election in Bayelsa State, has been released after she was kidnapped on the 29th of October, 2015 at about 1 am yesterday, at Forupa on the Atlantic fringe of Southern Ijaw local government area of the state.


In a statement by Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Butswat Asinim, said the aged mother regained her freedom on Monday night, at the Ayama Waterside Yenagoa, the state capital.
